BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur on Saturday made it clear that India can’t play cricket with Pakistan until they hand over 1993 Mumbai blast accused Dawood Ibrahim and not make attempts to indulge dialogue with separatist leaders.

“Dawood in Karachi. NSA wants to meet separatist leader  here. Are you really serious about peace and you expect we’ll play cricket with you?” Thakur said in a tweet.

His tweet came after Times of India broke the news that Dawood Ibrahim lives in Pakistan. Pakistan Cricket Board often tries to convince BCCI for a full-fledged series in UAE. But, BCCI always keeps it in the line of Indian government’s stand on Pakistan- peace talk can’t happen until Pakistan stop terrorism against India.

Anurag Thakur recently did not miss a single opportunity to snap the cricket ties with Pakistan whenever something came against India from the North- Western side.

As per ICC Future Tour calendar, India was scheduled to play a series with Pakistan in UAE in December, but Thakur  has made it clear no cricketing ties will resume until cross-border terrorism stops.
