T20 World Cup To Decide Better Player Between Virat Kohli And Steve Smith: Dean Jones
Indian captain Virat Kohli and former Australian captain Steve Smith is compared now and then for their performances. Dean Jones also could not draw a clear line between the duo and said the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 will decide who is a better player. The mega event is scheduled in October and will be hosted by Australia.
Virat and Smith have different styles of playing as the former follows traditional methods while the latter is an unorthodox player.
But both have the similarity of playing big knocks for their team. The Indian skipper is the chase master and is also the master of cover drives. Given the versatility, Smith is the one who doesn’t follow cricketing short but has the ability to score runs all around the ground. To elaborate more, Smith is monster off his pads.
But Virat Kohli, Steve Smith great but…
Both have a tough competition for the no.1 position in the ICC Test ranking. Currently, the position is held by the Australian cricketer.
The aggressive Virat had the worse New Zealand tour which affected his ranking and dropped to the second position.
Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones while talking with the fans on Twitter was asked to label the better player between Smith And Kohli.
He replied “Both great players… both players teams will define them. In other words… they need to play ICC WC Finals to define them properly”

T20 World Cup under danger:
The T20 World Cup 2020 is under the threat of cancellation because of the outbreak of Coronavirus. The International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold meetings with all the boards to discuss the fate of the tournament.
However, October is far but the increasing scare of the virus will postpone or either cancel the mega event. It will be tough to manage the travelling of the players as many participating countries have close their borders.
Amid all these crises, it is difficult for ICC to successfully organise the event.
