One of the rarest cricketers to be in the bracket of true gentlemen cricketers is Kane Williamson. He is one of the most elegant and easy-to-watch batsmen in world cricket. His calm and relaxed demeanour coupled with his strictly-cricket attitude just makes him even more likeable.
Then there’s that abundance of talent he possesses, be it in the field or with the bat. And there’s also the consistency with which he seems to produce performances that matter. And finally, he does it all with a very down-to-earth attitude on and off the field.
Williamson was awarded the Player of the tournament as he scored 578 runs in the ICC World Cup 2019. He tried too hard but never collected the trophy.
