Dharamshala Might Help Australia Hits Mitchell Johnson 1

Former Australian pace bowler Mitchell Johnson expecting Dharamshala to be favourable for the Australian team. The series stands at an interesting position as both teams are 1-1 after the third Test which was a draw. Dharamshala, known for his cooler climate, may suit Australian pace bowlers.

Mitchell Johnson has made a suggestion to include Jackson Bird in the team in place of spinner Steven O’Keefe for the final Test match at Dharamshala starting on Saturday 25th March. Mitchell Johnson expects the pitch to be more favourable for pace bowlers. So adding Bird could give a support to Josh Hazlewood and Patt Cummins. Jackson Bird is known for his swing bowling which can prove crucial for the Kangaroos at Dharamshala.

“Dharamshala is an amazig ground… the only time I have seen it are with grass on pitch, s that’s why Australians will probably be confident and India will be little nervous”

Pacer also praised the effort of Peter Handscomb and Shaun Marsh to draw Ranchi Test and said their performance proves that Australians are not relying on only the handful of players. Mitchell Johnson after Australia’s resilience in Ranchi feels more confident about Aussies repeating the job of 2004. In 2004 Australia won Test series in Indian soil after 34 years.
