In the second Test against Australia at their home soil, a Pakistani leg-spinner became the 21st Pakistani cricketer to score a Test ton in Australia. Coming to play at the number eighth position, Yasir Shah put up on a good show against the Australian attacks. Meanwhile, taking a dig at the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, people compared the records of Yasir Shah with Dhoni.

On day three in the Test match against the hosts Australia, Pakistan batsmen Babar Azam and Yasir Shah went in to bat on 96 for six wickets. Before the game took off, it looked like another easy-peasy win for the hosts who scored 589 for 3 in the first innings.

However, the two batsmen had some other plans on their minds. They put up the valiant fights for the team, where Babar Azam went on to dominate the Aussie bowlers before he went out with just three runs to spare his second century in this series.

With Babar Azam closing it on 197 for seven, Yasir Shah on the other side of the crease took hold of the runs. He valiantly fought against the joint attack from Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood. Yasir Shah bagged his maiden Test century with 12 boundaries off of 192 balls.

In the meantime, the Pakistani spinner was being praised by everyone for his amazing performance there were few who took the chance to take a dig at MS Dhoni’s Test records. The wicketkeeper-batsman played 144 innings from the 90 Test matches where he scored six Test tons with a double ton in his bag. However, the veteran star never scored a single of those centuries outside the Asian nations. And with Pakistan being India’s arch-rival, few cricket fans took this opportunity and trolled Dhoni on Twitter.
