South Indian actress Laxmi Raai has expressed her surprise when questioned about MS Dhoni’s upcoming biopic movie ‘MS Dhoni- The Untold Story’.
The 27-year old is set to make her debut in Bollywood with AR Murugadoss’ Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha later this year. MS Dhoni and Laxmi Raai were previously in a relationship before they broke up and the Indian skipper have moved in his life by marrying Sakshi after few years.
The actress has shown her surprise when journalists asked her about the biopic as their relationship is making the headlines just ahead of the release. She has also told that there would not be anything about her in the movie.
“I don’t know why people are asking me about Dhoni’s biopic and whether I’ll be featured in it. I have nothing to do with Dhoni now and he has moved on in life. He is happily married and has a child. Why are people dragging me into this now that his biopic is coming out?” asked an annoyed Laxmi Raai.
“I hope there is nothing in the film about me! Since it is a biopic, the film should only be about M S Dhoni and not about his relationships. I think I should also not comment on such questions like Dhoni. No girl wants to be tagged with someone forever,” she added.
The 27-year old Belgaum actress feels that her work should speak as she is currently busy in both Bollywood and Kollywood with her upcoming movies.
“There’ll be a point where I’ll start saying that I don’t know Dhoni and only known him as a cricketer and national figure.
Asked if she would watch the biopic of MS Dhoni, she said: “Definitely. If I find time I am going to be watching it. For me, it is just entertainment and a film. And movies are meant to be watched.”
MS Dhoni- The Untold Story is set to be released on 30th September as the movie is set for a grand release in four languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi).
