The Asian contingency in the World XI side continues to be in the majority as Indian internationals Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya have been recently included in the squad.

Pakistan veterans Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi were the first few ones to be introduced to the World XI side.

Previously, Afghanistan sensation Rashid Khan was also included in the side. Moreover, Bangladesh’s experienced players in the form of Shakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will represent the World XI.

The match is scheduled to be played at Lord’s on May 31 as England captain Eoin Morgan is set to lead the World XI side facing West Indies.

The fundraising event is organized in order to provide relief for the damage caused by the hurricanes which hit the Carribean Islands last year. Sir Viv Richards Stadium in Antigua, perhaps, is the worst hit due to the natural calamity.
