Doctors Want Hardik Pandya To Strengthen His Core Muscles, Decision On His IPL Participation In 3 Weeks
The last few days have been pretty tough for Hardik Pandya on and off the field. Firstly, he was injured during India’s successful campaign in the Asia Cup 2018. Later, when he made a great recovery to be back in the team, he was struck with a controversy, which saw him being suspended to play any form of the game.
However, he made a tremendous comeback by showing his skills against New Zealand. He impressed everyone with his batting, bowling and also fielding skills to brush off the stains on his character. Meanwhile, yet again, he got a setback in his cricketing career, as the injury ruled him out of Australia series.
Food Routine will be assigned to Hardik Pandya –
One of the BCCI sources revealed to Hindustan Times saying that the flamboyant all-rounder hasn’t developed his core muscle in a good shape. He explained that core muscle is one of the most important parts of a sportsperson body. Regarding the same, he will now attend NCA to take the food diet plan from the Doctors.
“He needs to work on his core muscles. We conduct fitness tests between series and the doctors felt that it is important for him to strengthen his core muscles and a routine will be designed for the all-rounder at the NCA which he will follow for the next three weeks. The core is one of the integral parts of a sportsman’s body and that needs to be in its best shape,” he explained.

Further, he went on to reveal saying that Hardik Pandya has got stiff back, which certainly, takes at least a couple of weeks to get set. After the conclusion, Hardik will once again get his fitness test done. The reports will decide the participation of the flamboyant all-rounder in Indian Premier League 2019.
“Too early to speak about that at present. He has a stiff back and it is not like he is carrying any injury. After the three weeks of training at the NCA, he will once again undergo a fitness test and the decision on his participation in the T20 league will be taken then,” the source added.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the youngster. Most probably, he would like to participate in Indian Premier League, as he already sat out of major tournaments and series in the recent past.
