Australian pace bowling legend Jeff Thomson acknowledged that Sir Don Bradman was the most amazing batsman he has ever bowled to and also added that he was astonished to watch Sir Don Bradman lashing his glorious shots in 1978 at the age of 70 in a backyard match in Adelaide.

News.com.au reported, remembering his experience with the legendary batsman Bradman during the 1978 match, former Australian pacer said that initially he thought he had better bowl his leg spinners as it would not seem too good in the newspaper if he killed the legendary batsman Don Bradman in a match of backyard cricket.

The report added, Jeff further, who is widely regarded as the fastest bowler of all-time, said that Don Bradman had just only a bat, not even a protector, and no gears like pads or anything on a green turf wicket, and he was astounded to see Bradman whipping two young bowlers for 20 minute.

Jeff Thomson added that if anyone gives a second thought how fine a batsman Bradman was, they should go and see him there.
