With more technology being introduced in cricket with every passing day, it has also left some bowlers, whose actions were questionable change the way they bowl and Muttiah Muralitharan, the bowling coach of the Sunrisers Hyderabad feels that the 15 degree rule is to be followed by everyone.

Muralitharan had a word of caution for youngsters who have this problem. He added that the degree of bend allowed is simple and that if players try to bowl un-naturally due to the rule, it will create a problem to the player. He added that not everyone can play like a Gayle and that whatever comes naturally to the player must be what he pursues and not what he may have seen in the Television. He added that learning to bowl a slider is something but wanting to bowl like Shane Warne is never going to be possible.

The 42-year old always maintains that the spinner have a key role in all formats of the game because they have the highest chance of getting wickets in a game. He added that the bowlers are mainly looking to contain runs, because the number of overs are less, the batsmen would like to take on the bowler from the start which gives the bowler a great chance of picking the wicket up.

He also added that thought teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings are really strong on paper, that the performance on the day counts and not the reputation.
