Dwyane Bravo & Hashim Amla Create a new record in T20 cricket

Dwyane Bravo and Hashim Amla create a new record in T20 cricket. Last night both of them shared 150 runs stand for the fifth wicket stand in the Caribbean Premier League for Trinidad and Tobago breaking the record of Bahutule and Takawale of 149 in 2007 for Maharashtra.

Dwayne Bravo and Hashim Amla shared a 150 stand for the fifth wicket for Trinidad and Tobago against Barbados Trident yesterday night. Bravo and Hashim came to the crease at 20 for 4. They played very well and made sure that Trinidad and Tobago reached a competitive total of 170. Hashim Amla was dismissed for 81 while Dwayne Bravo remained not out 66. Trinidad and Tobago won the match by 11 runs.

The previous best partnership for the fifth wicket in T20 cricket was between Bhahutule and Takawale for Maharashtra against Gujarat at Mumbai on 3rd April 2007.

Bravo and Hashim Amla really showed their class helping T and T to get the team out of trouble.

Trinidad and Tobago lost 4 early wickets. Hashim Amla and Dwayne played sensibly to lift the side to a defendable total.

The third highest fifth wicket stand in T20 cricket was between Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan for KKR against Gujarat Lions in 2016.

Dwayne Bravo and Hashim Amla showed that with proper cricketing shots the team can get a total which they can defend.
