Eng vs Ind 2018: Cricket Fraternity Shower Praises on Run Machine Virat Kohli
Cricket fraternity showered praises on run machine Virat Kohli after the Indian skipper scored his second century of the ongoing Test series. This was Kohli’s 23rd hundred in the red ball version as he cruised to a fine knock. It was Kohli’s 13th hundred while playing away from home.
Kohli put together an exhibition of fine strokeplay. In fact, it was a much circumspect knock from the Indian captain as he scored 103 off 197 balls while taking his time to build the inning.
Virat Kohli cruised to his 23rd Test hundred.
Virat Kohli drove majestically as he continued his love affair with the England bowlers. The Indian captain crossed 400 runs in the series while playing his sixth innings. Thus, the ghosts of the previous tour were buried by the talisman batsman.
He milked away the England bowlers with great ease picking his singles comfortably. In fact, Kohli scored only ten fours in his 23rd hundred. Thus, the Indian captain made full use of a spread field to add to England’s misery.
Kohli didn’t play any rash shot even when India were well ahead in the game. Therefore, it goes to show the control and discipline, the Indian captain has in his batting. He was once again at the top of his game.
Kohli could not go all the way in the first innings as he was dismissed in the nervous 90s. However, the right-hander was able to make up for it in the second innings.
In fact, the Indian captain gave a chance to Keaton Jennings, however, the England opener again went for the catch with butterfingers and bungled it. Consequently, James Anderson could not get the better of his biggest nemesis.
Kohli was well supported by Cheteshwar Pujara as the pair batted in the traditional way. It wasn’t the most fluent Kohli’s innings that we are used to but it helped India in strengthening their grip on the third Test match.
Here is how Cricket fraternity praised Virat Kohli.

No 23 for Kohli. Hard fought, well crafted, master of all formats. Loved his application. 2014 is buried.

Hunger & Discipline. That’s what separates him from the rest. Kohli’s indeed the best batsman on the planet across three formats… #23 #ModernMaster

Because they are exceptionally skilled they quickly cement their place in the team. This makes them very secure & confident. Finally, they want those things that every batsman wants, but they want it more desperately. That’s how batting greats like Virat get made.????

What a knock from the captain once again. Good to see him leading from the front and setting an example for each and everyone out there. Now this is the game for India. ?? #EngvInd pic.twitter.com/RtjVfdtmS8

We have all gotten so used to Virat Kohli scoring 100’s. Have a feeling he will cherish this one a lot once we win this Test match.
