Eng vs Ind 2018: Virat Kohli Likely to Hit Hundred in Next Test – Michael Vaughan
Former England skipper Michael Vaughan believes that Virat Kohli will hit an another hundred in the next Test match at Aegis Bowl, Southampton. Kohli has already struck two centuries in the series. Furthermore, Virat Kohli has scored two fifties in the ongoing five-match Test series.
Thus, Virat Kohli has scored four significant innings for the Indian team. Consequently, Kohli has scored 440 runs in the six innings he has played. The Indian skipper has been able to update his England’s CV in style. Kohli has batted at the top of his game to smash any doubts over his skills in England.
The Indian skipper scored 149 in the first innings of the Edgbaston, Birmingham Test. Furthermore, he backed with it another 51 in the second innings. However, he could not help India cross the last hurdle despite scoring 200 runs.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli had a mundane Test match at Lord’s where he scored 40 runs overall.
However, he was able to bounce back stronger in the third Test match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Kohli scored a fine 97 to take India’s first innings total to 329 runs. Kohli was able to reach the three-digit figures in the second innings as he scored a fine 103 to strengthen India’s grip in the match.
