Ottis Gibson, the bowling coach of England cricket team, will continue to be with the national side during the Test series against Windies.
It was expected that Cricket South Africa (CSA) will announce the appointment of Gibson soon but now it has been delayed until the completion of the Test series but the CSA will not make any delay in making the news official as soon as the Test series between England and Windies come to an end.

The England Cricket Board (ECB) and CSA have had a talk over the compensation on Gibson’s exit, as the former West Indies player has a contract which ends in 2018 and an early exit means that the CSA will have to make compensation to ECB.
England team will have a new bowling coach for the limited over series against Windies that follows after this and as of now, Darren Gogh seems to be the interim replacement for Gibson, who is serving his second stint in the role.
The Test series starts from August 17, with the first Test to be played with a pink ball at Edgbaston in Birmingham. The second and third Test will start from August 25 and September 6 in Leicester and London, respectively.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the incoming of a new coach in the South African team will come at a cost, as the senior batsman Hashim Amla is considering to sign a Kolpak deal post appointment of a new coach. Reports have suggested that he shares a good rapport with outgoing coach Russell Domingo and is expected to retire from international cricket with his exit.
Apart from Amla, Morne Morkel is another South African player who has been approached by English counties, post his success in the Test series against England.
The Bangladesh tour of South Africa will be the first assignment for Gibson as the new Head Coach of the South African cricket team.
