The England Cricket team have announced a 17-man squad for the Bangladesh tour starting from 20th October. The England team will play 3 ODI and 2 Test matches.
The ODI squad will be led by Jos Buttler after Eoin Morgan opted to withdraw from the tour because of security issues. The ODI series will start from 7th October. The ODI squad includes likes of Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball, Sam Billings, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, James Vince, David Willey, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood. England defeated Pakistan by 4-1 in the ODI series at home. It will be a huge challenge for England to perform in tough conditions.
While the Test team have also new faces for the two-match Test series. The team will be captained by Alastair Cook. The other opener is Haseeb Hameed, followed by Joe Root, Gary Ballance, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler, Steve Finn, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, Zafar Ansari, James Anderson, Stuart Broad. England spinner Gareth Batty makes a comeback into England. The England team management also have Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali as the other two spinners.
The England team performed well in the recently concluded home season in all formats but the main challenge would be to do well in conditions which will help the spin bowlers.
