England Opener Alex Hales dons walrus mask during the third ODI against Australia
England made a remarkable turnaround in the five-match ODI series with 93 victory over Australia in the third ODI at Old Trafford, Manchester. With this victory, England denied Australia from the series clinch as they were trailing by 2-0 before the victory. James Taylor scored classic 101 that helped England to notch up 300 for eight.
However, the most relaxed man was Alex Hales, who contributed just 9 runs to England’s total, as the opening batsman had time to don a walrus mask thrown to him by a spectator from the stand during the Australia’s failed attempt to chase the target.
Hales, a Nottinghamshire player received raucous support from the people in the stadium to put the mask put it on.
