Kerala Chief Minister Pinaraya Vijayan is moved by the kind gesture from Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper had yesterday (22 August) dedicated the Trent Bridge win to the Kerala flood victims.

Meanwhile, the condition in Kerala has gone from bad to worse. A lot of people have been affected by the major floods and have died. Furthermore, some people are battling for their life. Meanwhile, the Indian armed forces have once again done a fine job in saving the lives of the people.

CM responds to Virat Kohli and Co.

“We, as a team, want to dedicate this win to the flood victims in Kerala. This is our bit we can do as the Indian cricket team. A tough time there,” Virat Kohli said while dedicating the victory.

CM Pinraya Vijayan quoted saying as per ANI, “In 3rd test match between England & India when India won, captain V.Kohli said, this win is dedicated to the victims. Even from England, they’re keeping us in their thoughts. The whole world is sending us love & that strengthens us further to overcome this.”

Meanwhile, India ticked the right boxes in the third Test match at Trent Bridge. Thus, the visitors were able to win by a huge margin of 203 runs to come back in the series and make it 2-1.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinaraya Vijayan also tweeted on his Twitter handle to give his gratitude to the Indian cricket team. The tweet read as, “Indian cricket team has dedicated their Trent Bridge test victory to the flood victims of Kerala. CM Pinarayi Vijayan expressed the gratitude of Kerala to Team India and Virat Kohli for this kind gesture.”
