The Twitter world came crashing down on Stuart Broad after he was handed a fine by International Cricket Council. The governing body fined 15% of Stuart Broad’s match fees and gave him one demerit point for giving a send-off to Rishabh Pant.

In fact, Stuart Broad was given a mouthful by Indian skipper Virat Kohli when he came to bat in second innings. Broad didn’t have the best of games with the ball as he took only three wickets, all of which came in the first innings.

Stuart Broad had to pay the price.

Meanwhile, India went on to win the third Test by a mammoth margin of 203 runs. Virat Kohli was adjudged the Man of the match for scoring 200 runs in the match. Kohli scored a fine 97 in the first innings and backed it up with another 103 in the second dig.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya shined with the ball in the first innings. Indian all-rounder scalped his first five-for in the red ball version. Consequently, Pandya bowled some perfect outswingers to breathe down the neck of the England batsmen.

Meanwhile, India set up a huge target of 521 runs after they piled up 352 runs in the second innings. Thus, it was always going to be an impossible task for England to even save the match with two days remaining.

Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes were able to provide some resistance when England lost four quick wickets in the opening session of Day Four. However, Jasprit Bumrah was able to get back India into the contest.

Here is how Twitter trolled Stuart Broad after ICC handed him the ban.
