England vs Pakistan 2019: Adil Rashid Pulls off a Brilliant Run-out in Leeds
May 21, 2019 at 11:25 AM
Adil Rashid‘s two brilliant pieces of fielding helped his team thoroughly during the last match of the England vs Pakistan 2019 five-match ODI series held at Headingley in Leeds on Sunday (May 19). England defeated Pakistan by 54 runs to clinch another successful ODI series. England had won four out of the five matches in the ODI series where the first one ended with no result due to inclement weather.
During the fifth match of the ODI, Sarfaraz Ahmed spurred at Rashid’s delivery and went off for a single. After that, it went in slow motion where the wicket-keeper Jos Buttler quickly spun the bowl towards Rashid. And Rashid flicked the ball from his behind the back without turning around, while Babar Azam was still trying to regain his composure.
? The no-look run out! ??
Fabulous work from Adil Rashid! A back-flick onto the stumps without looking does for Babar (80)…

The bowler, though, was just not done with it yet. The English leg-spinner then dived to claim a left-handed catch off his own bowling, dismissing Shoaib Malik.
It was another glorious day for the hosts with bowlers and batsmen playing alike.

England took off good with James Vince and Jonny Bairstow working together, but Joe Root and Eoin Morgan pulled off 117 runs in 18 overs. Although Tom Curran’s unbeaten 29 took England over 350. Meanwhile, Imad Wasim took three for 53 with pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi scalping four for 82 runs in ten overs.
