England white-ball skipper Jos Buttler is set offered a lucrative four-year deal contract by the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals to play for their franchise in T20 leagues across the globe. The 32-year-old has been vital for the Royals since his debut for them in the 2018 season.
The 2022 T20 World Cup-winning captain is one of the most sought T20 players in the global leagues, as he can play at any position in the batting order alongside his brilliant wicket-keeping skills for the team and the England skipper is also capable of holding the leadership roles in the team, having led England in the highest level.
Jos Buttler was one of the retained players for Rajasthan Royals before the 2022 IPL auction, He also plays for the Paarl Royals in the SA20 League but has not been part of the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League.

According to the Telegraph, Rajasthan Royals are interested in having the services of the England White-ball skipper for the franchise around the globe, as they have offered some million pounds to sign him for a four-year deal, but not nothing has been made formally and It will be interesting to see whether Buttler accepts for the leading IPL franchise as he got a good amount of years to play International Cricket for his country.
“It is understood that the offer to Buttler is yet to be formally tabled, and it is unclear whether the T20 World Cup-winning captain intends to accept the deal. The exact value is unknown, but it would be worth millions of pounds each year given his earning capacity in the competition,” the report read.
Though, Jos Buttler has a poor season in the 2023 season. The English opener skipper scored 863 runs in IPL 2022 in 17 matches and became only the third batter ever after Virat Kohli and David Warner to score over 800 IPL runs in one season.
