England’s World Cup-winning skipper will represent Dublin Chiefs in the upcoming Euro T20 Slam which will be hosted by Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands respectively. Also, one of the six franchises Chiefs had availed services of No. 1 T20I ranked batsman Babar Azam. Besides, Azam’s countryman Mohammad Amir has also been drafted into Chiefs’ squad for the inaugural edition of the T20 League.
Currently, Azam is partaking in England after signing a contract with prominent English County side Somerset. The Irish side had expressed delight in having some talented pool of players in the set-up for the enticing competition which is comprised of 33 matches.
The tournament will get underway on August 30 at Amsterdam when hosts Amsterdam Knights will lock horns with Rotterdam Rhinos.
Thus the trio reveals Chiefs have availed world-class players for the short-paced competition which is also based on three knockouts. Each of the three countries will house two teams.
Ireland’s Dublin and Belfast Titans will host their home games at Malahide Cricket Club in Dublin. Besides, Netherlands’ Rotterdam and Amsterdam teams will host their matches at VRA Cricket Academy in Amsterdam.
Furthermore, Scotland has housed two teams, namely Glasgow and Edinburg Rocks. Both sides will play their home fixtures at The Grange Club in Edinburg.
MCC in Dublin will host the grand finale on 22nd of September 2019.

Moreover, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali have joined Rhinos and Knights, respectively. Also, Pakistan opening batsman will represent the Dutch team.
Besides, the Dutch side has the representation of Kiwis, which includes Brendon McCullum, Luke Ronchi and current cricketer Matt Henry.
Moreover, leg-spin sensation Rashid Khan will represent Rhinos, whereas Shahid Afridi will play for the Titans.
