Further, he went on to add saying that the experience is much important than the young players getting the chance in the ICC World Cup. He feels that a tournament like ICC World Cup needs the players, who can tackle the pressure.

“We know MS wasn’t playing the last couple of games and you know from the Australian point of view, I thought ‘that’s a big gap, a big hole and we’ve got a chance. That’s the impact one player like him has from an opposition’s point of view. These are the headaches a lot of teams will have when they are selecting their 15,” Warner told India Today.

“There are 30 or may be 40 guys who could be in that 15-man squad, it’s a difficult thing, like a lot of other countries too. There is so much talent at the moment, good young cricketers but a World Cup is a World Cup, there’s pressure and you need experience.

Recently, the flamboyant Mahendra Singh Dhoni has answered all the critics with his stunning piece of a display with the bat. He collected the man of the series award in India’s tour of Australia and followed it up beautifully in the series against New Zealand.

Meanwhile, David Warner will be back to the action on March 24th. The flamboyant batsman will play the first game against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens.
