In an unfortunate news, famous Pakistani cricket fan Mohammad Bashir is seriously sick now.
The 63-year-old Pakistani cricket fan is a constant presence in India-Pakistan clashes across the globe in the last few years.
Bashir’s love for cricket began when he travelled to the Caribbeans to watch his team play the 2007 World Cup. Bashir, who is restaurant owner in Chicago, the fan has seen Pakistan winning the 2009 T20 World Cup in England. He has also travelled to Australia and New Zealand during last year’s 50-over World Cup. Not even an ailing health had put a dent in the enthusiastic and iconic Pakistani fan’s travels.
However, it seems that age is finally taking its toll on Bashir. Bashir was performing Umrah, a pilgrimage of Muslims, when he fell seriously sick and was rushed to a hospital.
After receiving 3 weeks of treatment in Madina, Saudi Arabia, he was flown back to the USA for further treatment.
We are really saddened by this unfortunate news and we wish that he recovers as soon as possible.
