Dhoni answered his critics with some match winning knocks to rescue India and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. His fan following is huge all over the world. Even supporters of the oppositions are his fans. That was seen in the net session before the fourth ODI. A fan managed to go past the security towards India’s practice area just to have a selfie with the Indian stalwart.

He mistakenly approached Rohit Sharma as MS Dhoni and hugged him from back, but later figured that he had got the wrong person. Rohit Sharma softly signaled where Dhoni was practicing as that fan wanted to meet him. The fan interrupted practice session of the Indian team and the team had to stop for the fan to have a selfie with the former Indian skipper. Dhoni obliged the fan to take a selfie with him and continued practicing afterward. It was later discovered that the unknown person was a staff member of the R Premadasa stadium so he had access to the ground.

MS Dhoni is set to play his 300th ODI on Thursday and will be hoping to get his 100th stumping as well. MS Dhoni came back to form in the second ODI when he scored he along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar rescued India to win the match. He then played a similar knock in the second ODI as well and supported Rohit Sharma, who scored an unbeaten century to seal the series 3-0 for India.
