Opening the innings changed my batting - Rohit Sharma

Indian opener and the elegant run machine Rohit Sharma turns a year older on the 30th of April. The charismatic right-hander, who is currently leading the Mumbai Indians in the ongoing edition of the IPL, turns 29. The Mumbai Indians skipper has been in a rich vein of form off late, as he has registered himself among the leading run scorers of the IPL.

Sharma, over the years, has simply transformed into a quality batsman. From a lad who got out after getting to promising starts, to the beast that he is now, Sharma’s career has indeed been full of highs and lows. Ever since he was promoted as an opener, Sharma’s approach to batting has completely changed for the good, and now is a genuine match winner.

On his 29th birthday, we wish him the best, and hope for his success and well-being. His fans wished him on Twitter, and below, are some of the tweets.
