West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard has expressed his shock after his compatriot Dwayne Bravo was penalised 50 percent of his match fee for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Mumbai Indians at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
Bravo admitted to the Level 2 offence (Article 2.2.7) for inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with a player in the course of play during a match.
Bravo seemed to nudge Kieron Pollard while the latter was batting. Gujarat went on to win the match to book their berth in the IPL 2016 playoffs.
Pollard took to twitter to express his reaction to the whole incident and said that he had witnessed even worse incidents on the field and termed the fine as ridiculous.
Ridiculous outcome…!! Again I have seen worst happen obscenities used no outcome but @DJBravo47 fined ??? https://t.co/bxEzcwIg3b

Pollard later said that T20 was all about entertainment and situations like those should be taken lightly.
It's slowly turning into a robotic game.. No emotions no actions nothing …2020 = entertainment !! Rigorous battles !! Evrything is a fine?

Bravo also tweeted about the incident and expressed his disappointment but at the same time, he also reassured everyone that he and Pollard were great friends, contrary to what was being speculated.
Calm down everybody. @KieronPollard55 and I are best friends on and off the field. Pity that normal banter is being shaped to suit agendas.
