India captain Rohit Sharma has given a massive update on the fitness of batter Shreyas Iyer ahead of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 tournament which will be played in India from October 5 onwards.

Shreyas, a key player in the middle order for India, has been out of action since playing against Sri Lanka early this year. This led to him missing the IPL, and subsequent series, and will most likely miss the Asia Cup tournament as well.
