FIR filed against former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli for beating his maid
Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli can not live with controversy as he once again finds himself in the cauldron of controversy.This time he and his wife Andrea allegedly beat up and abused their domestic help after the latter demanded her salary. The maid Soni filed a complaint at the Bandra police station and has accused the duo of illegal confinement and non-payment of dues. According to Zee News, the maid has complained that Kambli and his wife confined her to a room after she asked for the payment.
Soni marched to the local police station as soon as she was let out of the confinement and made the complaint. Kambli is yet to be called by the police for interrogation. A case has been registered against him and his wife under IPC sections 342, 504, 506 and 34. PC 342, 504 AND 506 AND 34. Vinod Kambli who played the 1996 World Cup semi-final and has a record 664 runs with childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar. He was a promising Indian cricketer, but his career was spoiled for several controversies.
