After impressing with his performance in the Asia Cup 2019, the spinner was similarly effective in the ICC U19 World Cup 2020. He very well knows his job in the field.

In the group stage match against New Zealand, he was the second-highest wicket-taker, picking three wickets at an economy rate of 5.6. While in the quarter-finals, when Australia dismantled India’s top order, the lower-order batsman scored a half-century to led India set a fighting target.

But the final was disappointing for him as neither he could score runs nor picked the wicket.

However, he can lead his team from the front.
