India U19 spinner Ravi Bishnoi was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament. Not only through his bowling but also considering his physical appearance, the spinner reflects the style of senior player Yuzvendra Chahal.
Against Bangladesh in finals, Bishnoi turned the game towards India for a moment. He gave tough time to the middle order of the opposition, creating pressure on them straightaway. The spinner went on to pick his third four-wicket haul in the finals. The other two four-wicket hauls came against New Zealand and Japan.
All in all, he has picked 17 wickets in six matches in the tournament. His ability to pick wickets in the middle has categorised him as the star player for the team.
