Kevin Pietersen has been the vital cog in a wheel for England until he opened up with all the grudges with the team management. For his bold approach, he was always in and out of the team.
After England faced humiliating defeat against Australia in the Ashes series, he was dropped from the team. England Cricket Board (ECB) snubbed him for further tours without giving the valid reason to media.
There was much media speculation on the nature of Pietersen’s relationship with the team management. Pietersen had issues with the then skipper Andrew Strauss and chief coach Andy Flower.
And because of his rigid nature, his international career soon came to an abrupt end.
