The right-handed batsman Ponting had a remarkable run in the Test fold while representing Australia in 168 Tests. He had amassed 13,378 runs at an impressive average of 51.85.
Ponting also had the experience of serving in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He had worked for Mumbai Indians (MI) before joining the Delhi Capitals (DC) since 2018.
