5. Sachin Tendulkar:
Having already held a position in the Indian Air Force, the Master Blaster knows a thing about the virtues of the Armed Forces.
Throughout his ever inspiring career, lasting 24 years, Tendulkar was always there for the team, and the team’s cause held the priority for him. Over the years, we saw Tendulkar making numerous sacrifices for the betterment of the side at all odds and situations.
Even when he wasn’t at his best physically, the Little Master would give it all to seek a win for the team. Acts of heroism such as these, are usually seen in the Armed Forces.
Given his tough yet humble character, Tendulkar would have been the perfect Army officer, always willing to do what was needed for the betterment of the Motherland. Such, was his love for the nation and the Tri-Colour.
