1926: Charlie Macartney Vs England Against Headingley:

Charlie Macartney, who had a career, spread over 20 years from 1907 to 1926 which later on was interrupted by World War I has been a menace for the bowlers following his great hand-eye coordination.
In the Test No. 165, the right-handed batsman achieved the feat after 24 years to become second Australian and overall cricketer to score pre-lunch hundred. He scored 112 runs when players went off the field.
Macartney added 39 runs in post lunch session to see his score at 151 while spending 172 minutes on the crease which included 21 boundaries. The Test was drawn.
