Trumper was 103 at lunch on the first day in the only match so far where a batsman has scored a ton before lunch and there’s been a result in the game. He ended with 104 from a total of 299 in a thrilling match Australia won by three runs.
In an exciting match which Australian won by three runs, the right-hander opening batsman Victor Trumper became the first ever batsman and the first Australian in the Test cricket history to score a triple figure mark before the lunch on day one. He scored 103 runs at lunch while toying with the English bowlers as hit 14 boundaries.
Post lunch Trumper added only run which saw his score of 104 in the overall total of Australia’s 299.
