Sir Clive Lloyd:
The West Indies attacking batsman, Sir Clive Lloyd, was a tall, powerful middle-order batsman and occasional medium-pace bowler. Under his captaincy, West Indies were invincible during the 70s and 80s.
He led the Caribbeans in three World Cups, leading them to two World Cup victory in 1975 and 1979. Notably, he is the only Windies Skipper to give his country the World Cup title since then his side has not won in the mega event. Llyod was also the successful Test captain. Playing from 1990-2008, he scored over 9000 international runs, playing in 110 Tests and 87 ODIs.
He was knighted in the 2020 New Year Honours for his distinctive service to cricket.
