#1 India’s first-ever Test series win in Australia:

India kicked-off the winning streak early in 2019 when they registered a historic victory in the Test cricket while they visited Australia. Australia, on the other hand, were struggling to keep up their team together as two of their best players were serving the ball-tempering ban from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Both David Warner and Steven Smith were the two run-making machines for the Australia team, and their absence earned India the fortune of defeating the one team they were yet to bag. India team had won at least once in Test cricket against all the Test-playing nations apart from Australia and South Africa.
However, the Virat Kohli-led team finally raised the toast to their first-ever victorious Test-series against Australia. The four-match Test series aired from December 2018, where the hosts lacked the confidence they were known for with the bat.
India opened the series with first win against the hosts in Adelaide, while they lost the second game in Perth. However, Kohli & Co. returned back with fire in the third game held in Melbourne. And then in the fourth and the deciding game of the series, Indian cricketers put up a mammoth score of 622 runs in the first innings before they declared.
The hosts, however, were able to score 300 runs before the entire team was taken down by the Indian bowlers. Due to heavy rain on the fourth and the fifth day, the match was declared a draw as there were no second innings. Rishabh Pant became the first wicketkeeper-batsman for India to score a century in Australia.
