Netherland bruised England in 2009 World T20 
England batting first scored 162. Opener Ravi Bopara and Luke Wright scored 46 and 72 respectively and set a 102 run partnership among them. But Rest of the England batsmen failed to manipulate on a good start. Netherland bowlers led by Dirk Nannes bowled superbly to restrict England for 162 runs.
Netherlands in reply lost the opener Alexie Kervezee in the first over. But other batsmen batted really well. Tom de Grooth and Peter Borren scored 49 and 30 respectively.
Ryan ten Doeschate gave the finishing touch with his 22 run innings and defeated England, the host, by four wickets.
