4. Kedar Jadhav: Kedar Jadhav stole the show when he scored a record-breaking 327 against Uttar Pradesh in the 2012-13 season of Ranji Trophy.
In the 2013-14 season, he scored a total of 1223 runs helping Maharashtra clinch the Ranji trophy first since 1992-93.
Jadhav made his international debut against Sri Lanka in Ranchi in November 2014 and got his maiden ODI century against Zimbabwe, scoring 105 of 87. His 200 run partnership with Virat Kohli helped India chase down a mammoth 351 runs at MCA Stadium, Pune after India lost 4 wickets in quick succession’s and were at a spot of bother. He scored 120 of 76 balls, taking the English balling attack all over the park.
Jadhav not only has the ability to score runs at a quick pace but also possess the quality of staying for a long time at the crease thereby increasing the fear factor in the opposition camp. Besides, he has the ability to don the gloves, as he does for his IPL franchise which could be a great boost taking into account any kind of injury considerations for MS Dhoni. Along with this, he can twist his fingers and roll through a couple of over’s in the middle if the situation demands so.
