5. Jasprit Bumrah: His unorthodox bowling action and the ability to deliver yorkers at will has seen him transit into one of the key death bowler’s for India. He made his international debut in 2016 against Australia, Down under and he was very impressive from the beginning. Even MS Dhoni quoted him the, ‘find of the series’.
He continued his impressive run ahead in the Sri Lanka series picking up 11 wickets in 3 matches. In the Asia Cup, which was played in a T20 format he picked up 5 wickets in the 6 matches with a miserly economy of 5.16. In the T20 world cup which was played in India last year, Bumrah picked up wickets in each of the matches he played.
In August 2016, he surpassed the record of Dirk Nannes, picking up most wickets in T20’s in a single calendar (28 wickets).
Besides his international career, he has fought his way in the Ranji trophy as well. His 6 for 29 in the second innings helped Gujarat to book a spot in the Ranji Final, of the 2016-17 season.
