RCB is the IPL team that justifies the term–flattering to deceive. The team has the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers among their strong batting core but still, they have failed to lift up the trophy though they have reached the finals three times. In fact, this team holds the highest team score as well as the lowest team score in IPL.
In 2017, RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal dismantled KKR’s batting line up early. They were all out at 131 which was a diminutive target in front of Bangalore-based franchise.
However, KKR’s bowling line up comprising of Colin de Grandhomme, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Chris Woakes became the nightmare for Virat Kohli led side. All the RCB players were out for single-digit figures whereas Virat was out for a duck. RCB could not chase the target and was all out for 49 runs, registering the lowest team score.
