Chris Gayle’s 175* against Pune Warriors:
The veteran cricketer is unarguably the greatest T20 batsman of all time. He has scored more than 10,000 runs in the format. He holds the record of scoring 175 runs in a single inning. It is also the highest individual score in T20s.
Gayle played this knock in 2013 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) against a hapless bowling unit of the Pune Warriors, and the 40-year-old went on to struck 175* runs in just 66 balls, including 13 fours and 17 vivacious sixes.
With the help of this blistering knock, the Royal Challengers Bangalore eventually posted a total of 263 runs in 20 overs. In reply, the Pune based franchise could only score 133 runs at the loss of nine wickets.
