Expectations were on Bhuvi before the series which he didn’t fail to do. Moreover, he did a brilliant job with the ball and the surprise was his consitency with bat. He picked up a five wicket haul in first test and a 6-wicket haul in the 1st innings of second test, leading wicket taker with 11 wickets. With bat he scored 3 fities and 36 putting a crucial partnership with Rahane at Lords. Scoring 211 runs, he is at 3rd position in runmakers. Can expect another all round performance from his young lad.
2. Murali Vijay:
Vijay was under sword before the first test but made into XI. But he showed that feeling trash after he scored a Ton & a fifty in first test and continuing it with scoring a 95 at Lords. Now he is the top runscorer in the series by a far margin and has sealed his spot for reminder of series. He will be crucal player for India, whom they will expect big.
3. Jos Butler:
Butler might be making his debut in the third test but he is not a new face at international level. He has been a regular player in limited over format and is a good form in any format he has been playing in recent past. With Indian fans hoped Prior, earlier keeper’s wicket as a bonus wicket whenever he came to bat, they will surely must not feel the same over Jos can he can take the match’s state from India.
4. Virat Kohli:
Kohli was considered as best Indian batsman but even with his failures India has done a better job. He has faced issue playing the ball outside off stump. Even he has been working a lot over it, he kept failing. Now, he will ensure his presence feel by scoring big in the third test.
5. Alaistar Cook:
The England captain has been passing through a bad patch past one year. Along with his form, the Team form also been poor making a lot of critisizm over his captaincy & spot. He played a confident innings at Lords in second innings, even though he didn’t scored much played long. Now he will look to continue it and convert into big.
