The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) was originally scheduled from the 29th March to 24th May 2020. But in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, which has forced to organise the unavoidable events in the empty stadium and cancel most of the visas till 15th April 2020, the IPL 2020 has been postponed till the mid-April.
But due to the increasing coronavirus cases globally, there is no confirmation about the beginning of IPL 2020. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), IPL governing council, IPL franchises are continuously monitoring the condition. Also, they are trying to figure out the best solution for the IPL 2020, which is very tough to find out quickly due to the uncertain future.
There is also strong speculation that the IPL 2020 can be even cancelled if the situation doesn’t improve in mid-April. If the IPL 2020 has been cancelled ultimately, it will be a big blow for the Indian cricket. While some Indian players are desperately waiting for the IPL 2020 to rearrange their cricket career, the IPL 2020 can play the disaster role for them.
Here are the five players whose career will be affected hugely if the IPL 2020 gets cancelled.
Shikhar Dhawan

Since 2019, the Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan is facing tough lucks continuously. While the left-handed batsman played his last Test at The Oval in September 2018, he faced some ins and outs from the limited-overs teams, mostly due to his injuries.
With age progressing, the 34-year-old Dhawan is facing the more tough job to maintain his position in the national team, especially when some youngsters are playing positive cricket as the openers. In last January, since returning to the limited-overs sides after recovering from a leg injury, Dhawan was in great form with the bat before another injury struck his career again.
The IPL 2020 is very important for him, and the cancellation of this tournament can put solid effect in his international career.
