The 40-year-old Imran Tahir is a crucial wicket-taker for Chennai Super Kings. He has featured for CSK in the 2018 and 2019 season. In the last edition, he was the purple cap player with 26 wickets in 17 matches at a decent economy rate of 6.69.
However, it would be wrong to judge the player’s ability with his age but there is no denying that his body might not support him further. The Proteas has already retired from One Day Internationals last year. He might also look to close his IPL stint after featuring in this impending season.
