The 40-year-old Imran Tahir is a crucial wicket-taker for Chennai Super Kings. He has featured for CSK in the 2018 and 2019 season. In the last edition, he was the purple cap player with 26 wickets in 17 matches at a decent economy rate of 6.69.

The South African player has retired from One Day Internationals after the World Cup 2019. Next year might be the last for the experienced spinner in IPL. His age might not allow him to continue his stint in the T20 annual tournament.
