The youngster from Delhi has impressed one and all with his exceptional hitting abilities. He can smash the ball out of the park on a regular basis and has the ability to make the opposition bowlers look clueless. He showed glimpses of what he can do in the IPL but hasn’t been consistent enough in the domestic circuit which led to his ouster.
Prasad said that they are looking at Pant more from a T20 point of view as of now especially after his mediocre returns in the tour to South Africa. He is a safe wicket-keeper behind the stumps and will be considered for the Indian team in the near future.
