Five players who were bought for crores but performed poorly

Pawan Negi:  The Delhi Daredevils owner was seen quite generous during the IPL auction as they bought many modest players for the higher price. One of them is Pawan Negi, who  was selected for Indian national team squad during the Asia Cup T20 and World T20 but he played only one match in AsiaCup. His India tag helped him to get a higher price of 8.5 crores the second highest price tag in IPL 2016. But Negi failed to emulate his own performance of 2015.

Negi, a spinner stands at 99^th in Purple Cap chart as he played seven matches and has gone wicketless.
