The veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh had ruled the roost during his heydays. Bowling alongside legendary Anil Kumble, Harbhajan had learned the trait of competing at the highest level. The prominent spinner had played a massive role in India’s victories at home and away.
Despite facing tough times, Harbhajan had backed himself to deliver goods for Team India. However, he remained grounded by imparting knowledge to others. In the domestic circuit, he had helped aspiring bowlers when he struggled in the national team.
Well, following the emergence of Ravichandran Ashwin in particular, the selectors with the consent of Dhoni had preferred young blood. Also, that time around Ravindra Jadeja had set his name among the top contenders given to the brilliance on a field well.
Thus, Harbhajan had gone off the radar after playing a T20 fixture in 2016.
Virender Sehwag – 205 ODIs, 104 Tests and 19 T20Is:

The destructive batsman of his era, Virender Sehwag had been quintessential across formats for India. The opening batsman had got off his team to a brisk start which eventually put pressure on the opposition.
While pairing with legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag had his role pretty much defined.
The explosive right-handed batsman had dented the opposition with an aggressive brand of cricket right from the get-go.
During MS Dhoni’s early days of leadership, Sehwag had impressed one and all with his effortless short-making. Sehwag further participated in the 2011 World Cup. Post the World Cup Sehwag lost the fizz before being sidelined from the side.
In 2015, Sehwag had announced his retirement from the international cricket.
