4) Injuries Haven’t Affected Team’s Performance

During the tour of the West Indies earlier this year, injury scare started to haunt Virat Kohli’s side. One by one all opening batsman got injured and that resulted in the comeback of our own ‘pocket size dynamite’ Gautam Gambhir.

KL Rahul was injured when the five-match Test series against England began, he returned but couldn’t perform well and in the process, he missed the Mohali Test due to a forearm injury.

Wriddhiman Saha, also termed as the best wicket-keeper batsman by head coach Anil Kumble and skipper Kohli, suffered thigh strain during the Vizag Test and his participation for the remainder of the series looks unlikely.

The good thing that has come out for the hosts after all these injuries is that nothing of the above has made any impact on the results, so far.
